Providing server application interface monitoring, 【Event Alerts】 enables an additional communication channel for abnormal messages at the application layer.
【Event Alerts】 allows integration of various project applications into the monitoring system. When an application needs to issue an urgent alert,
the engineer who designed the application can output the alert message to a file.
The WATCHDOG system can be set to monitor the content of that file and handle alert mechanisms uniformly.
It can issue alerts and clear alerts, and set 【Alert Valid Time】 to prevent repeated alerts within a short time.
The host system program only needs to write the event content message into the predetermined event name file.
Other Application System Abnormal Alerts
The execution status of server application programs and events recognized as abnormal by the program usually can only be confirmed by the original designer.
When the application system program recognizes an abnormal event, the system administrator may not be able to control the situation immediately.
This can potentially cause the following situations:
➢ Unable to issue messages through a unified channel
➢ Unable to analyze the event occurrence time or situation resolution
➢ Unable to monitor in real-time
➢ Unable to link command control
➢ Unable to integrate with IT operations management systems to implement standard control mechanisms
